The Relationship OS — privacy-first connection infrastructure

Connection is collapsing — and almost no one is building the technology to fix it. MedEnc ships a shared platform core (somatics, biometrics, cycles, education, psychology, zero-knowledge encryption) re-skinned across Moanr™, Vala Somatic, Vardr, and Praxic — live in market, capital-efficient, and designed so privacy is guaranteed by math, not policy.

Team & Why This Team

Tracy Daly

Tracy Daly

Co-Founder & CEO

Clinical intimacy expert across LGBTQIA+, CNM/ENM dynamics; behavior-change systems spanning mindfulness, cycle telemetry, and somatic tracking.

Kevin Daly

Kevin Daly

Co-Founder & CTO

Ex–Silicon Valley scale architect; zero-knowledge cryptographer (Shadow UUIDs, RAM-only keys); AI build playbook that ships at founder velocity.

Why us: Domain expertise + cryptographic systems engineering in one founding pair. Full Relationship OS built on ~$600K founder capital. Moanr™ is live (App Store & Google Play, 250+ downloads); March 2026 clinical seeding validated a 200-user cohort — R&D risk already retired.

The Market

$7.32B
Product-mapped 2025 markets
$4.1B
Consumer SAM (couples + platonic)
$150B+
Macro TAM (wearables · sextech · femtech · clinical)

Active products map to multi-billion segments: Moanr™ couples wellness ($2.53B), Praxic practice management ($2.42B), education ($0.80B), and platonic anti-isolation via Vala Somatic/Vardr (~$1.57B). Category leaders (Match, Bumble, Flo, Calm, BetterHelp) already proved willingness to pay — none solved privacy, which is our wedge.

The Technology

  • Relationship OS core: One shared stack — somatics, biometrics, cycles, education, psychology — re-wrapped per product (“Microsoft Office of relationship apps”).
  • Zero-knowledge encryption: Ephemeral user keys exist only in RAM during a request; never stored. Breaches yield unreadable blobs; subpoenas cannot force readable logs.
  • Shadow UUIDs: Health/intimacy records stored under anonymous identifiers to block cross-collection correlation.
  • Optional clinical bridge: Consumer apps stand alone, or feed encrypted logs into Praxic for therapy without opening a data-harvesting backdoor.

Disruptions

  • Connection crisis: Cohabitation breakups fail at ~2× the divorce rate; loneliness at record highs. Couples want passive biometric co-regulation — not another prompt app.
  • Privacy backlash: FTC actions (e.g. Flo’s $56M) shattered trust. Zero-knowledge is becoming a baseline demand for intimacy tech.
  • Post-Dobbs femtech fear: Cloud-optional / ZK cycle tracking is both acquisition funnel and competitive moat vs. Flo/Clue-class apps.
  • Clinical distribution shift: Therapists prescribing consumer tools creates a zero-CAC B2B→B2C flywheel competitors lack.

Business Model

  • B2C subscriptions: Solo, Couples, and Platonic (Vala Somatic/Vardr) plans; free period tracker drives top-of-funnel downloads.
  • B2B SaaS (Praxic): Clinician portal with premium AI analysis & transcription add-ons.
  • Zero-CAC flywheel: Each active clinician organically onboards ~20–40 couples into consumer premium.
  • Path: High-margin SaaS + subscriptions targeting $100M ARR by 2031; seed funds growth on a shipped core — not a rebuild.
